> How many of you regularly meditate or do energy work?
Not in any disciplined, regular fashion (e.g. every morning, although I
do go through bursts of a few weeks to a few months where I do that),
but I've been doing both of these things for at least ten, maybe up to
fifteen years? (depends where you peg me on "getting serious" when I was
a teenager)
> how much do you know about grounding and centering?
Enough that I would personally be somewhat bored by Yet Another Workshop
on these. ;) (not to insult, I know it's a topic some people need help with)
> What are your techniques?
I usually do the "visualize a cord going into the Earth" style, although
sometimes that is "not Right" and I find myself wanting to ground to
stars or something else. I don't think I actually do much centering,
actually, although I know what it is and how one is supposed to do it.
Just not something I personally tend to include in my repertoire.
> How important do you rate it?
Hrm. That depends on the individual situation. I seem to be a fairly
good natural ground, nay even power-sink sometimes, so I am rarely in a
flighty, over-energetic, useless state where grounding is a needed
"antidote". That said, cycling energy up from the land (or down from the
sky) and round again is a good "cleansing, opening" practice.
