I'm here because the event sounds interesting and it's
in my area. 

My partner and I are Balencians. Explaining that could
easily take a week. Don't know if that's the same as
being Otherkin, but we know we don't belong here and
we're looking for the way home. The questions the
workshops are asking seem to be in line with the
questions we've asked each other. And they're not
questions the world at large accepts. This event
sounds like a place where we might be welcome. Or at
least where we won't be considered nuts from word one.
