Westkin, I think Norcalotherkin, livejournal otherkin and calikinia (I
think? not that that's not dead) and my own journal, boards... I even
tried "direct marketing" last time, by sending an email to everyone on
the Otherkin.net directory who listed themselves as CA at least, and
possibly I cast the net further than that, and I don't know if anyone
who actually came was from that (I got some "hits" who corresponded with
me, but everyone I can recall off the top of my head wound up backing
out. I suppose I should give that another shot tho. (If nothing else,
there was one person who was just 18 at the time, I think, with not a
lot of ability to travel, and that might now be changed, nearly 2 years
later.)

Mmm, but this isn't a *pagan* gather. (Also I don't terribly wish to out
myself in the pagan communities I am in, and this sort of posting is
generally considered off-topic, even bannable depending on the mod.) I
know a lot of otherkin are pagans, but that isn't really where I want to
shop for interest. While I don't wish to exclude totally those who are
not otherkin, that isn't the focus I'm trying to create. I fear things
may get "taken over" (just as I don't wish to exclude furries, but
neither do I wish furry topics to get airtime on the schedule -- there's
plenty of cons for that already). Besides, if they are not interested
enough to be involved in the otherkin community, why should they be
interested to come to an otherkin community gather? (e.g. Shiari) I'm
confused by the logic.
