There's no such plan. To get a refund I have to cancel a certain amount 
in advance, you see. I don't live by myself so I can't offer my own 
house as a "base" for such activity, and I can't expect people to come 
from more than an hour or so away if there's no overnight to it.

No. I've been there twice and I didn't really enjoy myself, so why spend 
the money (and I gather it's not at the Doubletree now, so it's not 
sensible to drive home to spend the night, as I did one year when I 
decided to go well after the hotel was already booked). Also, if it's 
still on Memorial Day weekend this year, I am going to be in Houston at 
the time.
