Three of us is a party? ^_o

My brain is telling me 15, but I'm not sure if I'm pulling that number
out of the air or not (that might have been from Big Basin). I don't
know if they try to kick you out if you don't have the numbers, or what
(I don't see what right they'd have; I paid the fee up front in March,
so it's not like they're out money). At $25 each I would need to get 10
people to break even, so that's my working minimum.

It might. The problem seems to be mostly that there are not enough
people around that both want to go, and are able to go. For example,
Shiari lives around here, but has said "I'm not interested in coming to
a gather". Kai and Fey might theoretically be interested, but she tends
to get around outside the house in a power chair, so camping's
impossible for her. Richard might be interested, but he has, like, a
basic allergy to sunlight or something, so again out for camping. The
Silver Elves have expressed a very lackadaisical kind of interest, "oh,
sure, we might, if nothing else was on the schedule first", and I have a
kind of feeling that they are not likely to make the effort to go to
anything that is not on their side of the bay (North). Many folks it
seems are not able to afford to travel, even if they have no problem
with the venue.
I don't know why no one from the east or middle areas is willing to
travel as I have had to do for years, but there you go. (I guess myabe
they feel they don't have to since they already have the gathers where
they are.)

Sure, sounds fine to me. Aim for something about an hour long, no more
than two (attention spans and all!). The schedule as is has 1.5 hour
blocks but that is, as stated, "the schedule equivalent of lorem ipsum".
Walking the Thresholds uses a really loose "morning, afternoon, evening"
type of schedule. That actually didn't turn out so well at Hollow Hills
- half the stuff on the schedule got skipped due to a loss of focus, and
a few rather boisterous people seeming to dominate with silliness and
mundane conversation, which I was unable to rein in (and which there was
not enough overall attendance to happily absorb). But I dunno if trying
to do it by a clock will work any better -- these are otherkin we're
talking about *wink*.
