Besides these larger events, I am also the organizer for the San Francisco Bay Area Otherkin Meetup.

Written 2012: I think I am now permanently out of the business of trying to do gathers. I say "business", but I never made profit from these ventures. In fact, I was thrilled if I came anywhere near breaking even on the site reservation fees. I was just trying to provide places for otherkin, otherkind, faeborn, fairth, mythicals, changelings, faery, elves, sidhe, dragons, celestials, whatever we call ourselves to get together and express ourselves as such at least for short periods of time. For more than ten years I "chased the dragon", if you will forgive the pun, of Walking the Thresholds 2 in 1999, which was incredible in so many ways. Not only did I never achieve that goal, but I have had to cancel MythiCalia two years running (2011 and 2012) for lack of sufficient interest. I may have been trying to fill a need that wasn't actually there. So I think it's highly unlikely I'll ever try to organize a real gather again, since I'm just so burnt out on the stress and grief of trying to find a site and get people to come. But I am leaving these up for the sake of historical interest. (Note 2020: This is in fact still true. The SF Bay meetup is still running, albeit attendance is not very large. We have gotten sizable turnouts for our 'Kin-Meet at PantheaCon events which people occasionally refer to as a "gather", although really it's just a mini-meet, being basically a hotel room party  about 5 hours in length.)

MythiCalia was in California (as its name was intended to imply), in or near the San Francisco Bay area.
Feywood was held in July 2011 in Washington state.
